We are excited to announce the first preview of the prestigious Merano WineFestival, which this year comes to Calabria with a unique event: bio&dynamica &more. This exclusive event, organized in collaboration with the Calabria region, will take place in the picturesque location of Sibari, from August 29 to September 1.

The event marks the official opening of the Merano WineFestival and offers wine lovers an unmissable opportunity to taste over 300 wines from organic, biodynamic, and Equalitas and/or SQNPI-certified viticulture. Additionally, PIWI-resistant grape varieties and fine wines aged in amphorae will be presented, offering a sensory experience that celebrates the purity and authenticity of the region.

A journey through the world of wine that combines tradition and innovation in a setting that highlights the oenological excellence of our country. Don’t miss the chance to participate in this extraordinary preview, which marks the beginning of a new chapter of the Merano WineFestival.

PROGRAM:

WH AWARD CEREMONY

On Friday, August 29, at 8:00 PM, the prestigious ceremony will take place to award the 33 Calabrian excellence winners of the renowned WH Award 2024.

The event will be expertly moderated and hosted by Andrea Radic, an experienced WH Scout, who will guide the audience through a moment of celebration and recognition of the best companies in the region.

MASTERCLASS

On Saturday, August 30, at 10:00 PM, don’t miss the extraordinary Masterclass titled “The Best of WineHunter Award Calabria,” led by WH Scout Andrea Radic.

This event will take you on a journey through the tasting of the best wines produced by organic Calabrian wineries, which have received the prestigious WineHunter Award. A unique opportunity to explore the oenological excellence of the region, discovering the stories, techniques, and passions that make these wines unique in their kind.
