Wine and autumn – a wonderful combination in the sunny region of South Tyrol. We warmly invite you to the preview of the Merano WineFestival in Lagundo, where wine lovers and connoisseurs will have the chance to taste around 200 outstanding wines, personally selected by Helmuth Köcher, The WineHunter. From sparkling wines through elegant whites to reds with character, served with dedication by the students of the SAVOY Provincial Vocational School, every sip becomes a special moment. Alongside them we will delight you with regional and Italian specialities, perfectly paired with the wines being tasted. Providing the culinary backdrop, numerous businesses from Lagundo will present their homemade specialities, ready to be tasted.
With over 500 visitors expected – hoteliers, restaurateurs and trade journalists – the event is an important stage for wine and gastronomy businesses: they can have their products tasted without having to be there in person, relying on the professionalism of the Merano WineFestival team.
The evening begins at 19:00 with the opening of the doors of the Peter Thalguter Cultural Centre in Lagundo, marking the start of this special wine event. The event has plenty to offer in culinary terms too, and will be accompanied by music.
