Dal 7 al 9 giugno 2025, tra Cirò Superiore, Cirò Marina e Borgo Saverona, si terrà il Merano WineFestival Calabria | Essenza del Sud, un evento dedicato all’eccellenza enogastronomica calabrese.
Organizzato in collaborazione con il Dipartimento Agricoltura della Regione Calabria, ARSAC, il Consorzio di Tutela dei vini DOC Cirò e Melissa e il Merano WineFestival, il festival celebra la tradizione vitivinicola locale attraverso degustazioni, masterclass e incontri con esperti del settore.
L’evento si aprirà con banchi di assaggio e masterclass sui vini antichi della Magna Grecia e sui vini in anfora, seguiti da una tavola rotonda sul futuro della viticoltura calabrese e dalla prestigiosa Cena di Gala “Sapori della Calabria” con piatti firmati da chef stellati.
L’8 giugno, a Borgo Saverona, si terrà la presentazione del WineHunter Award Calabria 2025, con la degustazione di oltre 300 etichette e 100 specialità gastronomiche DOP e IGP. Il programma includerà momenti di alta gastronomia, masterclass, un Social Garden, musica dal vivo e appuntamenti speciali come l’aperitivo al tramonto con vini naturali e la tradizionale Sciabolata “Evviva Bolla Calabria”.
Il Merano WineFestival Calabria è più di un evento, è un viaggio tra storia, tradizione e innovazione, che porta alla scoperta dell’anima autentica del Sud attraverso i suoi vini e sapori unici.
Il 24 maggio 2025, a Chateau Mukhrani, torna per la sua quarta edizione il Merano WineFestival Georgia, un evento unico che celebra la tradizione millenaria della vinificazione in anfora.
Oltre 80 aziende vinicole provenienti da Georgia, Armenia, Anatolia e Italia si riuniranno per presentare le loro eccellenze enologiche, offrendo agli ospiti la possibilità di degustare più di 350 vini prodotti secondo questa antica tecnica. Un’esperienza esclusiva che mette in scena il profondo legame tra territorio, artigianalità e innovazione.

We are excited to announce the first preview of the prestigious Merano WineFestival, which this year comes to Calabria with a unique event: bio&dynamica &more. This exclusive event, organized in collaboration with the Calabria region, will take place in the picturesque location of Sibari, from August 29 to September 1.
The event marks the official opening of the Merano WineFestival and offers wine lovers an unmissable opportunity to taste over 300 wines from organic, biodynamic, and Equalitas and/or SQNPI-certified viticulture. Additionally, PIWI-resistant grape varieties and fine wines aged in amphorae will be presented, offering a sensory experience that celebrates the purity and authenticity of the region.

Wine and autumn – a wonderful combination in the sunny region of South Tyrol. This year, the local presentation of the Merano WineFestival returns to the Merano racetrack Ippodromo, where the event Merano WineFestival meets Gran Premio Merano will take place from September 28 to 29.
The event coincides with the prestigious 85th Gran Premio Merano Alto Adige on September 29th, featuring one of the most important steeplechases in Europe.
It’s a day where elegance and high society take center stage, perfectly blending with the ambience of the location, envisioned by Helmuth Köcher, The WineHunter.
In this exclusive setting, visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of Italian food and wine, tasting the delicacies offered by the partners and producers of the Merano WineFestival.
Amid the flavors and aromas that define the best of national wine and food, you can discover and savor elegant appetizers available for purchase at our three dedicated stands, focusing on culinary delights, wine, particularly sparkling wines, and spirits.
With the sound of galloping hooves in the background and surrounded by exquisite delicacies, September 29 will be the perfect opportunity to bet on your favorite horse, indulge your palate, and get ready for the 33rd edition of the Merano WineFestival, taking place from November 8 to 12, 2024!

In conjunction with the Merano Flower Festival (MFF), there will also be a preview of the Merano WineFestival, an unmissable annual event in November with the excellence of wines and world gastronomy.

Cult Oenologists are true creators of unique wines and have shown high professionalism in the last 10-20 year. They will present the wines of their most representative companies for tasting.
In the context of Flower Cocktail & Drink, the Spirits & liquors companies will be the first actors with an important presence of various bartenders who will perform in the Mixology creation of unique and specially created Cocktail & Drinks. The bar tenders with the best interpretations will be awarded.
Catwalk Rosè is the magical and unique world driven by rose wine that will create an exciting moment with over 30 national producers from North to South who will present their award-winning wines for tasting.
Think Tank is a digital conference that can be followed by all parts of the world and will address the importance and value of sustainability in the wine industry.

Catwalk Bollicine created by Merano WineFestival and Milano Wine Week is a cultural journey into the extraordinary world of Italian sparkling wine, which wants to promote and enhance the uniqueness of these products.
From the historic production areas to the most recent and innovative experiments, visitors can discover only the best of it and immerse themselves into the culture of the product itself and compare its origins, vines and methods of production.
The first stage of Catwalk Bollicine will be held in Milan from October 4 to 10 on the occasion of the Milan Wine Week and will continue with a second stage at the 29th Merano WineFestival from November 6 to 10.

Traditions do not stop and the usual Merano Grape Festival will take place at the weekend from 17th to 18th October 2020.
In a scenario in which various autumn initiatives will recall tradition and thanksgiving for the gifts of the harvest, four exceptional Masterclasses will take place in the Kurhaus to discover the “culture of wine”!
On Saturday 17th October and Sunday 18th October visitors will be able to take an exclusive tour inside the Kurhaus, the symbol of the city and location of the Merano WineFestival and afterwards they will have the opportunity to experience the incredible world of wine: two tasting sessions will be organized (the first one in Italian, the second one in German) held by a member of The WineHunter Tasting Commission, at 11.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m.
It will be a unique opportunity to broaden your cultural and enogastronomic horizons, in an elegant city like Merano and of course it is the perfect opportunity to get ready for the Merano WineFestival that takes place from 6th to 10th of November.
